Olympiad games and a hero quest

Make Oly just to farm BOGs not to gain hero, and a custom quest to obtain hero status....

I'm considering allowing olympiad.

would be cool.... and at oly u could get some other bonusses not only bogs - just to make ppl join it

Olympiad is good thing. But it sux, when u can join with donated itamz. So when oly will be working, my suggestion is: make special shop with gear only for olympiad. Playing skills > items.

Yah I guess I could agree with that, but sence I'm a bit of a pve whore I enjoy farming for gear to use in Olympiad even if its against donators. I don't care how this server goes about it, I think the main concern would how to stop people from feeding, massively feeding. Dosen't matter how much skill you have with or without donating, if you have to beat someone who gets fed by a couple friends or even a whole clan its not gonna happen if your trying to optain hero. And after all of that, it will turn into a feeding contest to get hero instead of the pure battle of player vs player and the skilled person comes out on top.

a very good solution would be to delete the counting before goin to the oly match-fight

it's the : "30 seconds left before u enter the olympiad fights" smth like that......
so no fckin way to feed

that still leaves plenty of ways to feed, just cause a character isn't dual boxed dosen't mean it can't feed. You have someone on a dominate class and you have the character that you wanna feed too, you hope to get him if not you kill the person you get. I've seen it get to the point where almost 10 people are login sign for Olympiad all on cat buffers and then the one person on the hero, as soon as people see that theres multiple cat buffers playing they stop cause ofc, they don't want to loose. then its home free from there.

when you have 9 CQ's signed, good luck with that. You'll loose all your points before you can even do any damage to that hero. Trust me, I've lived that, you don't win.

I have the best idea: make olympiad 2-3 hours per day. No feeding. And btw as i heard no hero from olympiad here, just bog's. So no feeding anyway O.o

Yah, Sararpis I agree with you, it does help in stoping people from canceling the portation to the stadium.

I don't like the time limit on Olympiad cause these servers are international and should be suited for everyone. Its different when you have one server for a group of time zones. None the less you are correct about reducing feed alot by doing that Zort

all this talking about feeding and shiz is EXACTLY why I hate olympiad.

Imo, its not the donated gear that ruins olympiad but feeding

Yah but then its just a Quest, and all the Pve whores will have it... but maybe

Maybe if you have to have a certain amount of Pvp points in order to start/finish/proced the quest?

Well if this is gonna be a pvp server, it'll be on of the things to do to keep from being bored.

yah I like my idea, but I still perfer the Olympaid just the same.

Hero quest > Olympiad. But it should be very very hard so there wont be so much heroes =]
