The last thing that you made with sleep is a bit horrible.... You can use armor with sleep resist, tattoo with sleep resist and menta shield buff. Cast shouldn't be so long as it is atm. Archer can kill any mage easily, but it was a way to kill archer with sleep, but without it, mage = shit. If sleep cast will be long as it is now, its no chance to win against archer with mage. That's all i have to say about that. Try to think about it.

You don't understand.
Why nerf a skill that can already be avoided with 1/3 simple tasks.
-You can wear Nightmare to block sleep.
-You can wear a tattoo to block sleep.
-You can buff with Mental Shield to use sleep.

Even if you use one of those 3, you still have a very good chance to block against sleep.
Not to mention if you're an archer poppin' out crits, your target should be dead by the time sleep lands.

I agree with this thread and think it was a powerful weak move to nerf sleep, out of all "overpowering" skills. If you guys are gonna pull that "Let Frenzy work with a bow since that how it was in C4." Then why in the world is sleep the one getting the shaft? Shouldn't it follow the same guideline? Sleep is just making you immobilized for the moment until you get hit, may it be by friend or foe. Frenzy is critting you for 14k, I don't see where your guys' knowledge comes from.

Archi you play an OL, Dreaming Spirit wasnt effected at all. As for sleep in genereal, yes it needed to be changed. Sps or any human mage has 1900+ casting speed with malaria and 2 stacking renewal buffs. It absolutely needs to be slower. Dont post all the Mental resist shit cuz almost no one uses it. You dont see draven,T3O, Kronic,Ledgic or any of the hard hitting archers using nightmare or mental tatoos. They are more concerned with doing high damage and critical rate. Secondly, I watched draven lose mutliple times to Somitlu on his SH vs HE w/Malaria atk.speed buff. Somitlu landed sleep on his second try, used all his debuffs, gave him concentration as a debuff and nuked him. He did it over and over and over again. All mages did on retail c4 was run around and cast sleep on each other, then either cancel or debuff. It came down to, not skill but who lands sleep first. As for titans, well no offense but if you get 1 shotted, its because your not paying attention. Titan doesnt have any range to a mage, and most titans using frenzy/port tactics areny using mdef or mental buffs. Also ntm Orcs are weak against dark magic, so why are you worried about sleep when anchor lands like 100 percent against them.

I dont know why your worried about something thats really all that not important. Whats causing imbalance in mages is HP diference and CON for resist against shock attacks. Since you all wanted Tatoos, fighters have HIGH HP because they arent using -Con dyes for Str and Dex. When someone like myself lands 12k damage on a HE from 6 deathspikes and an he is still standing, its pretty self explanatory. Specially when mages HP tops out around 7k, which equals about 2-3 crits. If its a person with a +16 bow its 2 crits with cov and cat buff.Someone like T3O hits for 4k, he needs not bother with the summon but hit me 3 times and after the 2nd shot, my summon is to low to transfer and next shot im dead. Also without con mages dont have stun resist, even more dangerous on characters like OLs and DCs.
